Lili Roquelin American Music with French Style.

I was lucky enough to host along with my friend and comedian Kevin Dombroski a comedy, music, and acting networking party on May 2nd. The talent was great and I would like to thank my comedian friends Kevin Dombroski, Dina Hashem, Brett Druck, and Josh Wesson for coming out. But the real reason for this article is to spotlight the music of Lili Roquelin a French musician whose music I really enjoyed.

Lili was born in France and lived in Ohio for a few years before moving to the great New York City 5 years ago. Singing and playing music since she was 4 years old she now writes passionate, beautifully crafted piano rock with influences from The Beatles, Radiohead, Noel Gallagher, and Ingrid Michaelson. Composing songs in both English and French Lili has toured the world and the majority of the United States. From Toulon, France to Cleveland, Ohio to One Penn Plaza in NYC for the 9-11 commemoration Lili has been enchanting audiences for years now with her soft yet powerful voice.

She reminds me of a Tori Amos or Sarah McLachhlin type of artist with a slight Bjork vibe. Like most musicians I suggest going to see her live to get a real feel for her and her music, you wont be disappointed.

See Lili Roquelin live on June 6th at Northern Soul in Hoboken, NJ and in Cleveland, OH on May 25th at Brother’s Lounge. Check out her music videos here and to purchase her music and for more information click here. Music is also for sale on iTunes and Amazon.

  2. Hey there fantastic blog! Does running a blog similar
to this take a large amount of work? I have virtually no
understanding of computer programming however I had been hoping to start my own
blog in the near future. Anyway, should you have any recommendations or
tips for new blog owners please share. I know this is off
topic but I just had to ask. Appreciate it!
