Write for Us

New York Social Status is always looking for talented writers in the New York City area. If you know New York City, the Hamptons, Westchester County, or surrounding getaway spots, then we want you!

Rules & Guidelines

The rules are in place to ensure that the quality of posts and integrity of the site remains high.
•The post/article should not be reproduced anywhere else on the web including your own blog/website (we want to keep our content fresh)
•Any images used in the post cannot mess up the design of the site. As a guideline, the max width of any picture you post should not exceed 550 pixels.
•It is okay to link to your own blog (and we recommend you doing so!) However, you should not reference your blog and you should not actively encourage visitors to visit your blog during posts. Remember, you get a link to your blog in your bio so that your site gets exposure.
•No affiliate codes or referral links are allowed in posts. We don’t want to spam our readers!

•We ask that you be willing to contribute at least the minimum number of articles per month in order to stay an active writer.

How do I become a Contributor?

To get started, please contact Ashley Massis at ashley.massis@nysocialstatus.com, if you would like us to consider you. Make sure you give us details of your own blog, send writing samples, or a link to some articles you have written. We are looking for passionate writers, who want to write about things not only that they want to hear about, but think NYCers should know about!

If you have something to say, something witty/humorous, or an eye for trends, then we want you!
